The Life Nature and Environment Research Club (LINERC) enthusiastically celebrated the Bengali New Year 1433 at University of Rajshahi through a vibrant rally and a meaningful tree plantation program.
To mark the occasion, LINERC organized a colorful “Ananda Shobhajatra” (festive rally) across the campus. The rally was enriched with bright and creative festoons, reflecting the spirit of Bengali culture, unity, and environmental awareness. Members and participants joined with great enthusiasm, making the event lively and impactful.
As part of the celebration, LINERC also conducted a tree plantation program, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. A total of six fruit-bearing and forest trees were planted on the university campus. These included:
Krishnachura (2 plants)
Neem – Native variety (1 plant)
Haritaki (1 plant)
Bahera (1 plant)
White Jam (1 plant)
This initiative symbolizes the harmony between cultural celebration and environmental responsibility. By planting trees on such a significant day, LINERC emphasized the importance of preserving nature while celebrating tradition.
The program successfully combined cultural heritage with environmental action, inspiring participants to contribute towards a greener and healthier future.

🌱 LINERC remains committed to promoting sustainability through awareness, action, and community engagement.
